Thanks to @Silverado_Express I have a straight cab with 4 doors that function properly and no rust.

Plan is to get it close to new as cost effective 128k now, drop it 2 inches, bob the rear to make an ext cab the wheelbase of a single cab, and run a wood flatbed for cost purposes.

Also picked up some Michael Waltrip you gotta know!

Why would you run a wood flatbed over shortening an actual bed? I feel like a lowered truck would look pretty cool with a really short bed over a flatbed. Just wondering, going to be a cool project.
I have a bunch of rough sawn dough fir in my shed and love a flatbed look, functionality. I’m gonna try to make it like a trailer deck with square tubing on the perimeter.

Plus my bed is smashed on the passenger corner, and used to have a toolbox welded in The left holes in the passenger side floor

I’m planning to remove the doors and run the pallet rack through the cab using the seat mounting brackets and 3 chain hoists to be able to raise and lower the cab. I’ll drop the original cab in the yard and roll the chassis under the rack

Current wheelbase 133, rcsb is 119 so I’d shoot for that to be able to get a junkyard driveshaft
