Helping a friend build an early yj
Keeping stock carbed 258, it has motorcraft 2100 and tfi
Keeping stock tf999.
D300 twinsticked, jbconv 4to1, 32 spline frt and rear outputs
44 front high steer, 513s and lockrite hd diff cover
14bolt rear 513s detroit, disks, smoothed bottom hd diff cover
BDS 2" yj springs up front, xjs rear with an extra leaf added
38" Radial TSLs with Broncomania beadlocks.
Still got to do brakelines, dshafts, and steering. Hopefully starting a cage afterwards.

OH and hopefully taking the BODYLIFT OUT! lol

Looks good though!

It really is nowadays with everyone going ls1 coilovers and bling bling. When i was building mine which is pretty much same combo as this one i thought i was high tech! lol :driver:

Thanks, it is 106. The tcase has been clocked flat, and ill be doing a flat skid soon. For now the stock skid is in place so we can get it going.

Nah i wish i could. Works been slow, been doing all i can to get some business. How you liking that deck i put in your yota?
 
what's the backspacing on on those wheels? Looks good!!
 
I really dont know. Ill ck it out next time we get one off. Hopefully have dshafts in next week, and traction bar built, along with steering done soon. Is there anyone in the triad that will drill and tap a flat top knuckle?
 
I forgot to update this thread. I will post pics here in a few, but it is wheelable now, still need to get a cage in and hopefully be getting some more power in the engine bay soon.

this was its maiden voyage at uwharrie back in early may. This rig will be up at harlan this weekend!
 
updates

looking at installing a stroker, efi and aw4 this winter. Also looking at cage, tube fenders, and more than likely scrapin the body lift.

Got a pretty decent deal in a stroker,efi setup, and aw4. Looking for any helpful knowledge along the way. Do's and don'ts, likes and dislikes.
