Site available at Badin Lake CG -- cancellation

Just had to cancel a reservation at Badin Lake Campground, site 34 for this Friday and Saturday. Looks like they are booked up this weekend, so if somebody is needing a site at this time, call recreation.gov and snag it.

I don't think you can grab it online, you have to call the 800 number. 1-877-444-6777

Sorry the trip has kind of fallen apart. Only ended up going to be 2 715s there. I had eye surgery yesterday, so the weekend got side-lined for me.

My friend Ben is not taking his 715, but his 1960-something CJ5, and one of his friends in a CJ-something. I don't know where/when they have arranged to meet at URE on Saturday. If I can catch him this afternoon, I'll find out and post here.

I'm supposed to take it easy for 4 to 6 weeks, no kickboxing, rugby, parachuting, offroading, so that's pretty much the season for me.
