Smittybilt Wireless cord.

So my cord is having issues. I have to bend it to make it work. Smittybilt REMOTE CORD #97510-51 Smittybilt 97510-51 Smittybilt Winch Replacement Parts | Summit Racing They are on national back order and none to be found. The wireless remote works fine but I really do not like the delay. Anyone have one laying around or thoughts on how to fix it?

It's the flat piece that plugs into the remote that is intermittent. I assume its a broken wire or something inside the molded plastic plug.
 
How bad is the delay? My $40 Harbor Freight wireless controller is darn near instant.

This thing will go on for a second I'd say. Some times it takes a second to start and stop too. It may not sound like a lot but it has put some serious tension on the line in that second. Wireless is useless from more than 10' too.
