Haha get this, today at work I (got) volunteered to be in charge of making sure our building walkway gets shovelled/salted... in exchange for 1.5x extra hourly pay. Now I'm looking forward to snow!

It could go either way here, Look like according the weather sites, Morganton could be the only place that gets it. Ofcourse it could turn to rain any moment.

I will take Snow any day over freezing rain or ice.

Just cover the walks in old strips of carpet about 2 ft wide , the length of the sidewalk...remove after snow to reveal a nice looking sidewalk..viola!!

it's raining slightly here. snowed at the g/f's house in N.Wilkes and when she left my house it was about 1/4" of sleet/ice on the ground. she still has a few inches of snow at her house from the first storm!

I am in Boone for the week for new years, and its been snowing here almost every other day.
