Me and a buddy of mine had planned a trip to URE this weekend and we made it as far as tucker town on hwy 49 before my Jeep decided to just die on me. He was flat towing his jeep at the time so we had to trek back to Concord, unload his jeep and take the tow bar back to mine to attempt to flat tow mine back home. Well we soon found out that the way my front bumper is mounted, it just wasnt going to hold to be flat towed from. So we then went to plan B, we called up a friend in K-town to see if we could borrow his tow dolly and he was generous enough to let us. Since we had already made two trips down 49 with my buddies diesel we decided to take my truck this time instead. Which is a 2005 ram 1500 with a 5.7l hemi. I bought this truck to do the occassional towing if I had to and I can say that I was completely satisfied with the way it towed my ZJ on the tow dolly back to concord. Though I was scared to death b/c it was the first time ive ever towed a vehicle and it was around midnight. Thanks again to Brett for lending us the tow dolly and some insight on what the problem with my jeep might be.
