soft door question?

the origional owner sold the soft doors to me with the jeep. since its getting warmer i figured i would use them to see if i liked them, the thing is, the door latches dont line up. is there another door bracket that needs to be installed for these to work. more information: i have full hard doors cause i have a hard top. thanks

well the doors might be made for a YJ... the latches are completely diff for the 2... and i know that TJ soft doors used to be a rarity

I wouldn't call em a "rarity"
but it should be the exact same thing.
You might have to swap the mirrors over, but that's it.
I've put my dad's doors on mine before,
(he wanted em back though)

well if im not mistaken, i thought the TJ had diff latches then the YJ and CJ... and that the TJ's latches were higher up, but that the doors would fit, with some modifications to the latches

i dont think these latches could be modified by myself.

Could be YJ/CJ soft doors for use with a Bestop Supertop. The Supertop has rounded instead of square corners.

I used some YJ doors on my TJ for a while. I made a new catch out of some strip steel and 1" pipe. I had to grind down the the pipe a bit, but it worked just fine. I think I still have these in fact.

Im doubt what i have will work for your jeep but you probably have the correct handles i need for my YJ. I got a used super top with 2 piece soft doors that use to be on an older CJ. If you find the correct handles for yours i would be interested in buying yours if they are actually what i need.
