Nothing major, but still pisses me off. When I bought my Burb the rear bumper was a little tweaked, but not enough to screw with anything other than dent the quarter a bit.

Well, the other day my wife and I were out by the back of my truck and she pointed out that the plastic bumper cap was torn. I looked and noticed the bumper was bent much worse and the one spot that was touching the quarter is now pushed deeper into it. On top of that, the rear barn doors now hit the plastic cap so you need to rip the doors open to use them.

Seriously, if whoever hit it would have told me I probably would have told them not to worry and the bumper was already screwed up. But now I'm pissed.

I'm going to try and find some 1/4" plate and I am going to weld up a bigass rear bumper that no one wants to mess with. This is like the 3rd bumper on my trucks that got messed up due to someone being an asshole, I'm tired of replacing stockers, I'm building a beast one this time. :bounce2:

Gotta put barbs on the spikes, like bigass fish hooks. And with your current rear bumper impact record I'd make sure to put expanded metal over the reverse lights for protection...

does the wife ever drive the burban?

Man, people are always stealing the little plastic cover in the front bumper of my landrover, the one that goes around the fog lights. I hate going to the mall.

I finally said eff it and quit replacing them.

I mean how many women would notice a dent that got worse?
Me thinks she backed into something and then blew it off....

i agree. she probably went to move it in the yard one day bc you were parked in front of her an tagged a tree or something. females lack of situational awareness never fails to amaze me.

case in point, my gf ran into the ditch in front of her house last week turning into the driveway. how in the hell do you not notice that the area you are turning into is a fawking ditch, not the gravel driveway to the house you've lived in for a WHOLE YEAR? then she had the good sense to just hit the gas and plow on thru to the yard and onto the driveway..... how she didnt rip her bumpers off is beyond me.

It wasn't her, she has never even sat in the driver's seat of the truck. Hell, she doesn't even have a key to the truck.

Her truck isn't fucked up either, so I know she didn't hit it with hers.

I park it in the parking deck at State while I'm in class, some idiot hit it there I am convinced.

This is why I always left a trailer hitch on my truck. If somebody hit me, it would do more damage to their car than mine. Unless it was on the corner....

It was the corner. I used to leave my hitch in, but it did more damage to my shins than anyone else's bumper.
