Looks good Scott, we still need to get up one day. LOL

Make sure that blade is sharp, you dont want any roadkill trying to get up again

Photo chopped? I wish I was that computer savy, Big Waylon was the one who showed me how to post pictures to begin with.

The rear spring mounts are next on my list, still on the fence about cutting the body and sliding everything back. The front I moved forward about 3-4 inches. Thanks for looking though.

Right now 96" and some change, probably gon'na slide the rear back only 5-6" since this will be my trail/mudder/cruiser and it's leaf sprung. I don't want my turning radius to be any bigger than it is now anyway. I'm starting to gather parts for a rock buggy which should be 120"? I guess that's what everybody shoots for?

What I'm still lacking on my CJ is; a decent T case with 1410 or 1350 yokes, engine needs rebuilt since she's spraying for misquitoes now, some kind of fuel injection, some lock outs (anyone want to go in half? I'm only going to run one), a soft top, stauns when they make this size and other little stuff.

Maybe it is just that everything around it is huge, but the tie rod, heim and bolt look realy small.

Other than that, looks pretty good.

Never seen a drag link done like that. Have you turned her lock to lock to see what binding you might have? Also, I am at 118" on my wheel base. Little long, find a bunch of wheel base traps. If I were to do it again I would stay in the 110" range.

Wheels from Daniel at USA6X6, make sure that if you want to run the road that's in his head. I had to shim a couple to run true. It took like 6 months to get the wheels but little stuff like seals and yokes I got within a week. Premier in Asheboro coated them and then I imroned the rock rings. They are 16.5 x 14 since I had these tires before the switch.

The relay rod is out of some 1/2" wall tube I got from Andy, the stock tierod I sleeved with schedule 80 and then tied the clamps in with 1/2" plate. The arm is out of 1" plate and the turned up end is like 1 1/4" plate. 5/8 high misalignment heims with a F911 bolt through it. I had the heims like that on my old axles, 90 degrees out to cover all angles, but I may change this around, It's not binding now but it is stuck out front like that, maybe turned up with a plate on the end or something. My goal was to get the throw dead on with the 8" cylinder mounted inline with the tie rod.

Rock Buggy 110"? Cool, I guess I'll shoot for that instead, thanks for the input.

the piano hinges are still the coolest feature...:D

and NCJeepin...I can assure you it's not photochopped...he's driven it to my house (pre-rockwells, but with same tires)...

lets see some more pics...that thing is sweet!

Got my lockout today, just running one since I'm spooled in the front. Now I want need the whole target parking lot to turn around in.

Would love to see some pictures of your hydro mount on the axle - and where did you get your high-steer arms from? I also have the 1 ton USA 6x6 brakes - do they stop your rig satisfactorily?

My rockwells are sitting down at Andy's right now waiting some BTF pans.

How is that Dana 20 doing with those 49's??

Rockwells are alot more gentle on the t-case parts because of the gearing in 'em..
