I have a dana 60 listed on craigslist and I got this email what do you think scam or not?

Greetings,
I really appreciate your quick response to my earlier mail.like i said i will like to buy the item so pls do withdraw the advert from Craigslist. I will also like you to know that i will be paying via certified check due to the distance as i am located in Georgia ,i will need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing of the payment.

1.Your full name.........
2.Your mailing & postal address.....
3.Your phone number........

**I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping i will have my mover come over as soon as you have received the payment**

Have a nice day.

yes definitely. they are just trying to get your info.

anytime you post anything on craigslist....you are bound to get one of these emails...

Scam.
The classic sign is a lack of acknowledging or stating exactly what the item IS in teh reply. E.g., any normal person would say, Hi, I'm interested in your dana 60 axle etc, not "the item".

the fun things is reply to the email and say, "I am so glad you want this couch, no one has been interested" they will keep right on with buying it...

Yeah its a scam, but at least tie the scammer up and waste his time...or post up his email and we all can
