Sucks I missed this event. Unfortunatly farm work called this weekend. Yall have a good turn out George?
 
Yea, considering fuel prices I think it was a good turn out. I think the way we did the comps this year worked out much better and people seemed to enjoy it more.

I was 1st
Greg was second
Third was Travis I think.

George Baker 2nd

John Thomas(driving a borrowed rig from Travis) got hosed in that rock race, watch the video. The banner that Kim ran through, was clearly in place when JT made his CLEAN run and he didn't hit it, she did, but won....interesting. We had a good time and will be back next year for sure.
 
I understand your point. But that ribbon wasnt there for the first 3-4 runs. I know I got off line. so did donkeystompit...
I know it looked bad.. but the fact that the ribbon was put up later in the runs wasn't far either..

I think this could be a big thing next year and will use this to make it better. John sorry for the trouble..
 
No problem. I'll be back next year, and I'll really be hard on Travis' junk then. I think Travis should claim temporarily insane, to keep people from thinking he's stupid for letting me drive.
 
Travis did you ever find out what was wrong with your buggy? I talked to Dave and he said it did the same thing on Cream Puff bet that wasn't to fun.

I don't know exactly what happened, but yes it seemed to lose fuel again on cream puff, after I made it up the bottom section and around the turn:D. I killed the battery again trying to restart it. They winched me up to a flat spot, and it fired right up.:confused: I've never had problems with this fuel cell, and it has two new filters. I'm going to put a new pump on it just in case.
 
Had a good time. It's always fun riding with you guys. I finished third in the small tire class. Lion's den at one in the morning was a blast.
 
May be hard to tell how hard from the viedo, but I have seen you give it hell on some dunes. SO therefore I am still impressed, sweet night video. :driver:
