A buddy of mine is in a pickle, so i'm lookin; to help him out.
He's getting married in 2 weeks (D-day is Sept 3th).
His minister just informed him today (16th) that he has a schedule conflict and cannot do the ceremony. Kind of fishy actually but won't go into details.

So he's looking for a minister (or just about anybody w/ "legal hitchin' powers" in the Raleigh area.
They are not particularly religious (no church affiliation etc) but were/open to the standard things in a traditional wedding. Service is being done at a park near Exploris if that gives a general indication. I don't think they really care at this point who does it or what they're affiliation in.
They've known each otehr and dated a long time (5.5 years?) and are very committed so they did not do pre-marrital counciling or a pre-nup. This is of course a problem for many ministers.

So... anybody here that can do this or know of a direct contact, reccomendation etc? Needless to say they are kinda freaked out. Not like there aren't plenty of otehr things for them to be getting together.

what i would do is grab a few friends as witnesses go down town and have them do a quick 'official' cerimony. Then have anyone you like do your park ceimony...
