with 63in chevy springs on their yota? I want to get retarded flex out of my rear and i want to run this combo. How well does it flex? any issues? will i need a long travel driveshaft? open to ideas. Jordan

i know of one guy on here that are running those mounts. maybe he will chime in . they worked really well in mtn city for him that i saw.

Are you building a ramp queen or something? Unless you do something else besides these (like a double shackle or a revolver) they will cause less bind of the spring but not net really any more travel when used in conjunction with a standard shackle. It will be decent travel, however it will probably not be "retarded travel".

haha thanks landon, well i thought about double shackles but i don't want them to unload going down hills, esp cause my truck is already top heavy. I will probably do banana shackles from budbuilt and those creaper mounts and the chevies and see how they work. Any ideas on a better way to do it? I just wanna get this right the first time

another ? Im gonna make a banana shackle because buds isn't long enough. I want to make it with 2 options 7in from the top hole to the first bottom hole, and 8in from top to second bottom hole. The joints will be mounted just behind the stock hangers. any problems foreseen? I know it's a little confusing but it makes sense in my head

You will meed a little bit of weight to tet the 63s to work decent. IE - if you have the bed off and nothing back there you'll probably be unhappy.

Shackles will probably work fine though. Good luck. If you have any more ?s just give me a ring.

thanks for the info, i was a little worried about the set up and how the shackles would sit. ill get it together soon and post a pic of how it looks
