Ok so I was wanting to know if anybody ran these and what yall think of these. They will be used on the road a decent amount considering I drive my Yota just about everyday. I'm really just wanting a tire thats good on rocks, mud, and dirt I'm runnin 35's at the moment and might go back with the same size but I also saw these came in 34x10.5. Any suggestions on size?

Not a good road tire at all. They are bias ply, wear quickly and are loud. They do fantastic in mud, dirt and very well on rocks. However, expect missing lugs and gouges when used on the rocks. They are soft!

Any idea of how long they will last? But anyways now I'm still stuck on what to get, I dont care if they are loud or if they ride like shit, if they perform than thats fine with me. Just not looking to spend more than bout 250 each. My other choices were MT/R's, KM2's or tsl's or tsl's sx.

I'd say you'd be lucky to get 20k miles out of them on the road. Most who have weekend warrior type rigs opt for a MT tire as they get good pavement mileage and are ample for moderate wheeling.

BFG KM2s are a great option and do well on the rocks, but may be out of your price range:

If you like the super swampers, consider the regular TSL, TSL SX and IROK over the LTB. I would think a radial would last longer on the road and ride better.

Another option is to go with some treadrights, though I don't know how well they do on rocks but hear they do decent on mud and on pavement: http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102808

I had 33x13.5x15 LTBs on my '01 TJ. I thought I could put up with the crappy ride too but they came off as soon as I saved the money for some BFG KM2s. The LTBs were out of round and couldn't be balanced. Made for a hell of a ride.

LTB

I had a set the same size on my tacoma. Ride on the road was terrible. I didn't keep them for much longer than 4 months. Great off road never put them to their limits but I went places in 2WD with those I could go with 4wd 1/4 tread m/t's. Gas mileage went from 18 in my 4 cyl to about 14-16. some time 13 but mostly around 14ish. Shook the little truck on the interstate pretty bad. If you do a lot of interstate 65+ I wouldn't get them unless you had a spare set of wheels and tires. I also never balanced them except with balancing beads( waste of time). They are made for offroad and perform well there. Other wise bad on road. Mileage The wore little the 5,000 miles I had them. But also have a 4200 lb truck.

i have some on the manche... they are soft like said above i can live with the riding characteristics its the tread wear that would make me cringe if i had to dd my truck. but they are amazing offroad

for what its worth my brother ran LTB;s on his XJ and LOVED them. (he used em religiously in mud adn some rocks) He wanted the 42's (?) at one point but they were nation wide back order...

just saying
