I have a 1995 Honda 300 Fourtrax. Keep in mind this little 2wd four wheeler has been through hell and back. Now with a battery connected the push button start does nothing at all, however you can jump the solenoid and the starter turns. Also, if the motor is running, with a battery connected or not, you can hear the solenoid click when you push the button. This has me stumped. Any suggestions?

Neutral switch, brake switch, faulty solenoid, or poor connections .Depending on year I may have the fsm. Edit: I see 95. I just might have the fsm. Let me look.
