still have bump steer

i have added a drop pitman arma and i still have bump steer. where else should i be looking?? i can not go over 30mphs with out being all over the road. oh yea sorry i have an 81 cj7 with 32" mud tires.

Bump steer or death wobble? Check your caster and TRE's/balljoints.

Since everyones "ESP" is broken...

Tell us EXACTLY what's happening at 30mph.

Then clue us in on EXACTLY what's been changed over stock. ("Lift shackles", lift, etc.)

Then tell us EXACTLY what you've checked (TREs, balljoints, etc.)

In other words, help US help YOU!

Check your steering shaft for play (in the engine compartment) the u joints tend to go on older CJ's, then check/upgrade your steering box mount -(upgrade to a Big Daddy), check mount to frame bolts. Happy findings, T.J.

Get rid of the super long shackles?

what would be the best shackles to run on it? it has only a 2 inch body life and mts on it. i have wanted to change them out for a while just have not found any i like.
