Keep in mind that no matter what you bolt on to the 2.5, you will always be less than impressed with the performance. As said, the stock box helps keep splash and mess out. I had a coolguy cone filter and when I rebuilt my engine there was grime on the wrong side of the intake (manifold, throttle body, etc)
