Hi, I'm interested in looking at a trailer to carry a roof top tent. Anybody know of a place near Charlotte where I could go check some out?

I was looking for a camper trailer... Like the Smittybilt Scout trailer.

Wow. I didn't know about those. That seems really expensive and I can't see where the cost comes from.

I know CVT is in Chattanooga and they do rentals. I may just have to drive up there and do a trial run whether I go CVT or not. I'm looking at CVT, ARB, and Smittybilt

RTTs aren't exactly budget buys, themselves.

Overly complicated trailing arms and the hardware. Slide tracks, decent door hinges and latches add up quick. Mostly I think it's priced that high because of very little heavy hitters competing for that market share. Look at a truly expedition ready trailer like those glorious Aussie folks build and this things a bargain.

To the OP do you have a budget in mind?
