INSANE Lightning and thunder, I love a good thunderstorm :bounce2:

I just caved in and put my doors back on got a bit wet :lol:
 
No glass on the XJ, and its stilling on the trailer ready to go to Harlan for the race. hopefully it will dry out on the drive up, otherwise my backside will be moist for the race.
 
Yeah, power has gone out twice so far. Just realized my XJ has the front windows down, but its in Clemmons so I guess I will have to live with it.
 
yep, sitting here at my desk at work watching it do all kinds of crazy stuff outside here in Randleman. lost internet 4 times, power twice
 
There is a ridiculous amount of electricity in this storm. Tons of ground strikes here in Randolph.
 
We are getting skipped out all the excitingness and I will actually take the pass on it for once.The Jeep is sitting in the yard topless,door less and everything else less.I could really do without soaking wet seats for my morning ride to the meeting I have at 8:30

I was on the laptop last night and got zapped with a huge jolt of electricity thru the computer coiniciding with a lightning bolt that must have been very close. My feet were firmly planted on the concrete basement floor. I guess the surge protector is either junk, or maybe it didnt stop 100% of the surge. I decided to shutdown, and got zapped again as I was closing the laptop screen.

Rock92 just reported up to 5" rain in one hour reported somewhere nearby.
 
It rained like hell at the house from about 9pm till midnight. That was the most thunder and lightning I have seen since I don't remember when. The damn thunder and lightning kept me up so I couldn't fall asleep. When it finally started to ease up around 11-11:30pm, some damn loud ass frog was croaking his ass off right outside my bedroom window keeping me up. I was very close to going out there with a flash light and giving him the boot.
 
Dang sounds like some of you folks had fun. I had a lot of cloud cover, but no rain by the time I went to bed at 2. I saw a metric shit ton of lightning off in the distance though.
