What's the perspective here - are we looking through the head, and kind of downward?What is that on the upper left, an exhaust valve?

You are looking in a combustion chamber you can see both intake and exhaust valves working.

if I had to guess this is a two plug per cylinder engine and the camera is through one plug hole (you can obviously see one spark plug in frame)

They do if they don't have hair dryer hanging off the exhaust mani...

1 Bar plus suck... This engine doesn't have good quench area it would seem from the orange flame. Or could use better...

In a Normally Aspirated application sure they do. The down stroke of the piston creates a vacuum that draws air into the CC when the intake valve opens....

But I know you realize this, so obviously I am missing the joke.

This engine doesn't have good quench area it would seem from the orange flame. Or could use better...

This also contributes to my 2 plug/cylinder with camera through one theory
 
Air/fluid moves from high to low pressure..... atmospheric is higher pressure than what is created in the cylinder... pushed in. :flipoff2:

(I know, splitting hairs)
