Im really confused  . Ive got an 89 toyota that im gonna purchase some wheels and tires for. Right now its got 6" of lift and im running 33x12.5x15 on 15x10 rims and I dont like the way it handles or looks (tires to wide). Tell me what you think about this 16x8 3.5" offset rims with 265x75r16. I dont like how fat 33s look. I like a little skinnier tire barely sticking out the side and a little larger diameter wheel. Please give me feedback on this or tell me what you really think, dont hold back. Any other suggestions would be helpful. This truck is mostly driven on the road and light trails. Im also gonna sell these wheels and tires but will trade for something thats more of what im lookin for. Tires are Tacoma MTs with half tread left, on black powder coated rims kind of like the rock crawlers with saw blades instead of holes.

There are 33x10.5x15" BFG MT's, ya know...

P.S. Axles/Suspension/TIRE section?

I think you would be disappointed with how small a 265 is going to look on your truck. Yes, it will be narrower but also quite a bit shorter. most 265/75s are going to be lucky to be 31, maybe 32 inches tall. Its up to you, but they will be small compared to a 33. I tend to agree with what rich said, a 33 10.50 bfg mt would be a good choice to me.

if it has 6" of lift.... 38x11.00 boggers or whatever that size is that the mud boggers love to run :flipoff2:

in all seriousness though, anything shorter than a 33 is going to look SMALL on that truck w/ 6" of lift.... hell, i think 33's would look too small for me... but if you want some 31's, we could trade and ill put your 33's on my stock height 91 pickup :D

6"? 34.11.50.15 LTB's That or the tall skinny boggers, what are those 35.10.50's? Short tires on a tall lift like that will look about at cool as the 24's on the lifted impalas.

I think im gonna leave the lift on it frydaddy just want a skinnier tire. I like the 33x10.5x15 suggestion that rich suggested but im gonna get rid of the black 10" wheels. I wanna an 8" rim that looks like what was on your jeep.

O.K. I probably wouldn't go any smaller on the tire height either then. I think it has about six inches of fender clearance. I'd go with rich as welljust make sure the offset is the same. i'll ask my brother if he knows what it is.
