Sunrise at the Cape

We're spending a few day at Cape Hateras this week caught this sunrise yesterday morning, gotta love starting the day fishing to a site like this!

Dang the sand does not look to bad cut up, have they opened up all the access to the beach or is there still a few spots were you cant drive?

It's all open right now. The bad sand is back of the beach in travel lanes and at the ramps but still not that bad.

Did you catch any fish GreenFord, I saw a guy catch a huge stingray when I was there in Aug.?

On the sound we caught some trout and drum... (1) drum @ 25" and another at 21" were the largest... Trout were around 13" or so...

The weather screwed us up. We did get some small Blues (1to 3 lbs) the wife got a couple of nice flounder but no Drum.
