Super Duty Fuel Filter Leaking

My 1999 7.3 L super duty F-350 is leaking fuel from the fuel filter/water seperator on the top of the engine. It is leaking like someone has turned on a Diesel fuel fuacet. It coming from the rear of the filter but I am not exactly from where. I can see it dripping down making a puddle on top of the motor. My question is has anyone ever had to change this part before or is there some other way to stop this leak. Replacing a hose or whatever. Until I can get this fixed I will not be driving the truck. Any information would be a great help. Thanks.
 
Thanks alot I believe that is exactly what is happening.
 
Found some o-rings yesterday pulled it all apart and replaced two or-ings. So far no more leaks today. Thanks for the advice you were dead on with it.

Have you ever changed the filter?
I swap in a new one every 15K only cost about 35.00 at the auto parts store.
 
This is becoming a very common problem on the 7.3 psd trucks. Mine started leaking last week right after I filled up with diesel fuel. It seems that the new ULSD fuel is thinner and finding its way to the slightly worn O-rings. That was with only a 10% blend. There are gonna be a lot of leaky trucks out there by the time we go to 100% ULSD.
 
The official changeover date was Oct 15. Everything should be ULSD now.
 
I did not know that, it makes even more sense now. There are alot of diesel owners complaining about the leaks already.
