tried to get a pic of the driver ( long hair hippie type, suspected to have gimp'd up leg )
any info leading to the capture of said deviants ( there were at least 2 in the vehicle), post it here

AHAHA! that's great.

we were busting up the blue ridge pharmacy for some good pills.:flipoff2:

I just left the treatment center, was turning left onto Lake Boone, laughed my ass off you were blocking up Blue Ridge with your mess.

DAMN that is a long combination !!

any idea total length ?

yeah, it's a hell of a combo for sure. today was actually the first time i've pulled it with the bus. we're taking it to callalantee tomorrow, so i wanted to get a little wheel time with it today. what better way than running errands?

i'm not sure on exact overall length, but i'd guess it's 60-65ft. the bus is about 30ft., and the trailer is a 32ft. deck plus whatever the toungue is (3-4ft.?).

I guess you'd call it a "brush guard".... whatever it is, is really sweet. That thing looks like a SWAT team bus.

yeah, the looks and reactions to it are priceless. i should carry a camera just for that. people either smile and laugh, or have a look of terror/horror.

How big is your piece of land to store that loooooong ass set up. I think it is kick ass but the boss would never let me have something so cool. She hates the Excursion and it's not nearly as long.

i've got 3/4 acre with a large fenced in back yard i can drive around in. i've been keeping it at my office temporarily though. i need to clear out some bushes in one spot at my house so i can get it back in the corner out of the way.

I think those bars on there are part of the fence that got hung up during the "Jailbreak"....the trailer will cut away if necessary during hi speed pursuit and block a 4 lane interstate...

Cool man...I may need your assistance one day...

Tell me you have a locomotive horn to reply to all those looks with. Lovin the setup:beer:

haha, i do plan to add some air horns to it. it's just got a regular electric horn now, but it is pretty loud.

here's a pic of it loaded up if anyone cares:

That's awesome. Looks like you got plenty of room on there for a quad and a motorcycle still. (Or for the flamers comment, 2 vespa's)

How does it drive? Does it seem to long or is it manageable?
I know there ain't a chance my skills would be able to back that sucker up.

Holy crap that is bad ass. What kind of drivetrain is in that bus?

^^it definitely requires some concentration and careful planning to maneuver around, but it's not terrible. i'm still able to navigate parking lots, city streets, etc. with some care. the bus actually has a better turning radius than my f350. the long rear overhang tracks the trailer around turns a lot better than a standard truck also.

^it's got a 5.9 cummins/allison at545.

That looks awesome.. I wanna come check out the bus sometime.. maybe when I bring you those mirrors I have for you :)

sure. what's your schedule like this week? i've got to take it and the trailer back over to my office at some point, maybe we could meet up when i do that.

p.s.- the bus *might* be for sale soon. if anyone is seriously interested in such a thing, drop me a pm. i've got my eye on something else.
