Allright,

Tonight I have been messing around with autocad thinking about 4-linking my rear axle, just some little things. I have not entered all my info in the 4 link calculator, and not do i have all my exact info.

What I'm asking is, Is it possible to some virtually flex my axle up and down only, w/ my link as i have them drawn, to check to see how much my pinion angle is going to change through the range of motion.

I know it can be done in Solidworks, but I no longer have that free copy, so its autocad for not...

If anyone wants to give me pretty much step by step instructions on how to give it all to move and pivot up and down as a unit, that would be awesome. I'm using autocad 2008 by the way.

Look at the picture below. I'm just tring to cycle everything up and down, pivoting off the front link mounts. This way I can see how much the pinion angle is changing.

The reason i'm asking this... is so when i get all my 4-link measure out, and it looks good in the 4 link calculator, i want to check and see if the pinion angle is going to change a great deal.

Thanks guys.
