ok, do you guys actually buy the quick disconnects? or find a way to "make" your own?

Page 2 of my Build thread shows a pic of the sway bar disconnects we made:

The black pipe came from Lowes. The clevis pins and cotter pins came from McMaster Carr. The heims came from Summit.
Definitely cheaper than buying them if you can weld (which I can't, but my friend can).

Mine came with my lift kit.

Depending on the vehicle... may just dump 'em.
Took the swaybar off my IFS Yota bout 4 years ago and never looked back. It leans a little more in corners but as long as you anticipate it, you're fine. Jeeps, broncos... I dunno.

The disco's on my grocery getter XJ were listed used here in the FS section.
I don't think my CJ came with the optional front sway bar.

When I had my YJ with 4" lift, I got rid of the sway bar. With my TJ and my ZJ, the sway bar makes a big difference, especially since I don't tow them.

i just replaced the bolts with trailer pins

and I can finesse my stock links just enough so they set on top of my upper spring mounts, out of the way for the flexin.

I havent yet tested my rear sway bar disconnected from my axle yet, I still need to check and make sure my ds doesnt fall out if I do.

By an axle strap from Northern Tool ($10 I think). I have a pic of that on my build page too.
