I just bought a t-18 with a AA Dana 300 adapter on it. I would like to clock the case a little bit for more clearance. I was wondering if I could just have the adapter redrilled if that would work.

I re-drilled mine, but...

I had a Novak kit and I had to clock the TC quite a bit due to gussets, etc. Once I clocked the TC, I had to trim the aluminum shifter mount b/c it was hitting my T18. I eventually rotated it back down because it doesn't hang down past the T18 anyway.

Thanks for the info. I set the tranny up last night and mated the tcase. I tried to rotate and also ran into the same problem of the shifter hitting the tranny. i think I will let it hang for now. Thanks jason

The only way to index it without interference is with a clocking ring so that you don't have to rotate a full 45* that allows the holes to miss all of the gussets in the adapter (at least that is the case with the Novak kit I have)
