T-18

HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO TELL IF A TRANNY IS A T-18? I HAVE FOUND ONE IN A FRIENDS EARLY 8O MODEL F-150. REVERSE IS TO THE RIGHT AND DOWN. IS THIS ONE?

Yes, you will have four postions H pattern and then the "over to the right, and down" five positions. That's the T-18

Or the NP435. Or the T19.

Hell, all T18s aren't even over and down for reverse. Old ones are right and up.
