t-case help please

i got a 98 tj 4.0 5 sp and it has a np231{j i think} and it split in half the other day does anyone know if a 2000,01,02,03 tj t-case would work on it or if a 242 or a t-case of a nv3550 tranny will bolt on with no problems. need help its my dd thanks

A 231 from a 01-02 will work as long as it's a 23 spline off of a 6 cylinder.
