Where my transfer case meets my rear drive shaft there is fluid leaking. I'm pretty sure its a blown seal but i was just wondering if i should not be driving it until i get it fixed or will it be alrite to drive on as long as its fixed within the next week or so.

you should be alright as long as its not pouring out. just make sure it always has plenty of fluid IN the t-case. youll probably want to give your jeep a good washing after you fix it too since that fluid will be all over the back of your jeep.

I thought all Jeep tcases leaked, at least all I've ever had did :) Like fatty said, just keep some in it and you're good to go.

Mine too

X2, Mine leaked since the day I towed it home. Even with A new seal ( I Broke the slip yolk, & it took out the tail house cone), It was leaking within A week, or two. Think of it this way, as it leaks, it slings the dexron fluid all over the underside of the jeep. The areas, that get coated, will never rust! :driver:

Haaa...

The 1st time I wheeled with a guy with an XJ, his t-case and steering box leaked like crazy! I told him about the leaks, and he said "it's a Jeep; you worry about it when it stops leaking".

:)
