So I drove the Tacoma today for the first time. Brakes are bleed and it’s struggling to stop. Has 37’s on it with a ford 60 front with 2 piston calipers
Dana 60 rear GM 3/4 ton calipers.

Is there any way to make it stop better?

What master are you running?

Stock 2nd gen.
I’ve heard of a 1 ton t100 booster and master, but can’t find a lot of info on it. And Tacoma forums are a cluster

@Jody Treadway
Also if I just upgrade the master and make an adapter for it, can I use my old booster?
Would that just make the brakes hard to push?

I can speak for myself personally as we nhave used the 86 E350 master on numerous XJ, YJ, MJ and currently on my Ranger. Each one is/was running the OEM booster. Each one stopped just like stock with a great pedal.
@77GreenMachine can attest as well

I doubt you need to change the booster, just find a master that is designed for something 1 ton for more volume. The booster is only assisting with moving the pedal so it will operate the same. May need to adjust the rod, and/or “woller” the holes out. Surely someone out there has done a successful swap.

Some of the most common ones are E350, Ram 2500, and Mercury Marquis.
Bet you could take yours off, and go to the parts store and just measure your hole spacing for the studs, along with the overall length and height and find out what works. Not sure if you have any electrical doo-dads that plug in though.

So the link for the tundra booster to GM master kit looks like the best option, but the cheapest 08+ 5.7 tundra booster I could find was about $350...
So that’s a no go.

I guess I’ll try bleeding them again. And if that doesn’t help, I’ll get a T100 1 ton master and make an adapter plate for it.

Saw it on another 1 ton 2nd gen. No idea if it worked for him, but he never said it didn’t.

Did you get the brakes working better? I have a 1" master cylinder and a big brake booster off a Toyota that might help. It was running big Chevy brakes and Tacoma brakes.

I bled them again. Work better. Not perfect. Also ordered an adapter for a tundra booster to GM master. May or may not install it.
