I know there are lot's of variables but in the early to mid 90's which motor tends to hold up better with high miles, 200k +?
Thanks
Thanks
What should you realistically expect in a 95 burb 454 vs 350?
Do you mean expensive to do repairs or to buy in the first place?
Repairs on either would be comparable. The initial cost of the 454 will be VERY high, especially if you want a running one. I'd expect to pay $2500-$3500 if you want one in good shape.
WTF are you talking about?wow..
2500-3500 used?
Uhhh if so who wants to make a PA run....
My guess is there is a running 454 burb in PA for $1500. The body will be shot for sure, but with a $2500 engine in it, it would be worth the trip.WTF are you talking about?
I've been looking for a decent 454 for years, the only RUNNING ones I've found were at LEAST $2000. And no, that wasn't in PA, that was while I was in NC. You know where you can regularly find them cheaper running, I'll shut up. If I found a rebuildable one for a couple hundred, then fine, but that's not possible in my experience.
