I need some input on Howell TBI systems. Good, bad, and ugly. Do they work good? Hard or easy to install? How long does it take to install? Things like that. Any info will help.:bounce2:

I have installed two. one on a friends and one on mine. Not hard to install if you are mechanical minded. They work well. I had a couple of bugs in mine because Howell had upgraded their O2 sensor from the 4 wire unit to a single wire and when they sent me my kit it had the four wire and my check engine light kept coming on and it would run rich. After talking with their tech dept we figured it out.

sounds good I will probably be installing one this month. I also see you stretched your cj-5. was that a real big project and how did you do it? was it worth the agrivation?

Saw a recent mag article where they swapped one into a wagoneer, i think with a 401, horsepower, torque, and MPG all improved some, but driveability was way up!
