We camped in my buddies 34ft RV/fun hauler Saturday night. He races suped up mini bikes. Then we hit RML on sunday morning. Talked to a bunch of zukies in the parking lot and check them out. One of them I guess Studnuts built...red one on 10 bolt axles and coilovers. Only saw two full size jeeps I guess most of them had left by sunday. It was a nice day for a cruise not much traffic on the trails...

The jeep did good...no major malfunctions. Just a little bit of a leak on my auto trans. Only when I was on a really steep incline it would leak. I guess there is some vent or overflow hole on the trans I need to plug or attatch a vent hose to.

My home made traction bar did it's job and flexed really well without a heim joint in the front.

We'll go again soon...it was a good time.

Thanks Dave...yep I did have a long build at about two years. All of that hard work and time was worth it. The jeep did great and I was very happy with it's performance. No major problems.....

Woo Hoo!

Thanks to all the guys that have helped out with my rig. ChooChoo for the FI/fuel cell and John(cyjkrawler) for helping with the traction bar/parts. Togie for the XJ springs. Info from Andy Zuber, Bill Carver, Rich, Sheldon.

Thanks guys!

Nice looking rig you have there. There were a few FSJ's still there Sunday but we were done Saturday night, wonder where that thing is leaking now.

Hate I did not get to see your rig in action. It's good when you can finally get your project on the trails.

Daaaamn, is that your t-case? That sucks.

There was one other green truck at Kodak when I got there. His spring popped out and had to back off and put it back in. LOL.

Then a white sammy went up after me. Not that busy otherwise. Just a few fourwheelers on RML.

Had a great time.

Does your wagoneer have the 727 trans? Do you have the hole in the tail housing? Mine has some overflow hole that was leaking on steep inclines.

That was a QT case in our Tan 78 wagoneer, and I stress was. My son pulled another FSJ out of a creek and up the hill to the bottom of the big hill on Dutch John. Not sure when the TC let go, we just found it leaking the next morning. My son drove it home (45 miles), stopping to fill it up every 10 miles. We found that the e-Drive coupler let go and trashed everthing else, I don't know how it was still going. It was a really good weekend, not too many on the trails at all. Hope to see you around so I can check out you rig.

Jim

You must have seen me and the bobbed J-10. We did Daniel late Sunday morning. We had a 'Zuk and some CJs with us.
Me...

Shake down run for mine too. The suspension works great. The trans fluid self changes and the radiator has a relief valve in the top of it.

Yeah, I think I saw you guys. I know I saw the J-10.
Let me know next time you guys go wheelin'...

I like that sticker, nice.

Hate I didn't see any of you there. We only came down for sunday though. War Wagon, if it makes you feel any better....I pulled my front driveshaft apart twice, ripped my rear shock crossmember off the frame, punched a hole in my rear diff cover, and burnt up my headlight switch.:shaking:

We were at Kodak around 11am sunday. There was a green ford truck going up before us. He popped out a coil spring. BOING!!!

I'm getting Crazy 8 graphics to make the decal.
