First I need to say Thank You to everyone that called me, or made calls for me, stopped on 40 to make sure we were ok, etc..

A HUGE Thank You goes to Dave from Olivers Driveshaft.

He helped me get my Gooseneck Trailer/camper with Jeep from winston to "The Flats" so my son and I could camp and race this weekend. without him I am not sure we would have ever made.
(Dave if you ever need anything just ask I will be there in a minute.)

Thanks to my Co Drivers wife for picking me up at 10:30pm and getting me back to the flats after dropping off a truck.

Thanks to Will Carter as he drove by and when he realized we were on side of the road he turned around and drove back probably 10 to 15 miles out of his way to come back around and make sure we were ok.

Thanks to all the guys that were part of our camp and helped make this weekend a fun, but long weekend.

thanks to Brett and Kathy for getting Corbin and Myself back to Raleigh last night.

and another Huge Thanks to Rob S for letting me borrow his truck to go back up to the flats today to get camper/trailer and get it all back to Raleigh.

all in all I drove over 1,000 miles this weekend but I got all my stuff to the race, had fun racing, and got all my stuff home.

If any of you need anything just let me know

Ken you should be very proud of your son, he had more manors and was the best behaved kid I have ever seen. He didn't miss a beat and didn't let what all was going on get to him. It was my pleasure to share my candy bar with him....

Tuff weekend for you all the way around. I am glad you made it, but I hate you had to go through all that trouble. Good to see you!

I am very Proud of him.

He is only 3 years old but he acted like an adult all weekend.. took all the issues in stride like it was nothing.

and yes he loved the candy bar :)

Glad it all worked out for you Ken. After reading your call for help, I tried to find a way to help. I had to go to work, missed the whole weekend up there, but I figured out a way to help. I called my son and asked if he would take my hauler, and get your Jeep, drop by here and get my pop up, just could do nothing for the trailer, but thought I could get you here and have you a place to stay, but, when I called to find out if someone was helping you, some one one was already on the way. Oh well I was just late LOL
Glad everyone was safe and you were able to get everything where you needed it
BTW What type tranny do you have in you Dodge?

your son stopped me sat and explained what you were planning for us and I really appreciate that...

as for tranny I have a Getrag, but I am taking a few days off before I even attempt to start looking at broke stuff :)

oh and Dave I owe you a car wash for your truck.. the flats area was a little muddy and I am sure you saw your tires and rims got muddy but at 11pm I could not find a car wash
