I had my hood open about 10 days ago. 2019 Stuporduty. Drove it at least 2000 miles since then.

Today, I went into a restaurant to eat, and when I came out, saw the hood was popped. Actually noticed it when I cranked up, and got the "hood open" warning message on the dash. It was just popped, still caught by the safety latch.

I got home, pulled my dash cam to see what happened. If anybody messed with it or anything. After I parked and got out, and had walked about 75' away, you could see the hood pop up. Latch is fine, not sticky, don't see any reason it would have come unlatched.

So much could be said about it just being used to being open frequently. In all reality screw all the new vehicles and their weird issues.

Has Ford moved their hood latch?

When it was the wide handle directly under the steering wheel, I caught mine in a pant leg and popped it more than once swinging a leg out.
