I was always a big fan of Cross Canadian Ragweed... sadly never got to see them live. Well Cody is rocking a new band....

I'm hoping to make the drive down from Raleigh (after the ECGS meet). Was curious if anyone else had an interest in doing such.

If nothing else... perhaps I've turned some folks onto a new band! :D

Cheers!

HUGE CCRW fan...

didnt know they had split up.

17 and boys from oklahoma still get pretty regular rotation on the ipod.

Yea, they took a break last summer, from what I heard, Ragsdale's son has Autism, and he was spending too much time away, and needed to be home more. I don't know if they are done for good or not, probably just needed a break. I saw them live up in Asheville a couple years ago, was a really good show.

I haven't heard but just one song so far from Cody Canada and the Departed, it was decent, but not the same. I thought about going, but I'll be at the beach instead.

Dam they split?
always have bad habit and alabama on the iPod and most of the garage cd

Can't make the trip but sounds like a great show.

I'm looking for shows this spring, although I figure I'll have to give it a month or so before leaving the baby (not here yet) with my parents to go to Lincoln Theatre or something... and I'm looking forward to checking out the amphitheater downtown.

Nice to see so many with similar music interest. I'm still up in the air on going, I haven't been to/through Charlotte in years.

i got a live show from them in my truck.
It seems to be played everytime I hit the trails.
didn't know they broke up, hell just heard of them a year or so ago.

Been listening to them for about five year long before they were big on CMT and the like. I hope this isn't the end for them, some of the nicest down to earth people you can meet for "stars."
