posting in here bc i am trying to see what yall think about price. i really dont want to sell and dont need to but i could put the money towards paying off my condo, new boat, or new tow rig/dd. the jeep has been sitting for over 2 years and i have been working on it to try and get the tags and insurance put back on but now i dont think thats going to happen.
theres nothing preventing the jeep from passing inspection except for one tire thats bald on one side from before i replaced the ball joins. the biggest issue is that the jeep has a rebuilt title now because of a wreck that i got in. the damage was all frame and axles. the frame was just barely tweeked and we went by dealer prices when we sent the info to the insurance company so of course it was more than it actually cost to fix everything.
the jeep has a newer soft top and frame from an 04 rubicon, tnt front tube fenders (that need to be powder coated), poison spyder rear crusher corners, toys by troy rear rock bumper with swing out tire carrier, waggy 44's front and rear, lock-rite in rear and limited slip up front, currently no front bumper, 35" mtr's (will probably need to be replaced), 4.0L, 3 speed auto, SYE, tom woods shaft, RE 3.5" long arm with tri-link rear, ACOS front coil spacers, 1.75" poly spacers in rear, 1" body lift, seat covers, K&N cold air intake, etc...
jeep has a little under 80K miles and the tranny was brand new replaced by the dealer about 20K miles ago. also the jeep is a 2002 X model Apex edition but i removed the stupid apex decal from the hood but left the stripes.
this is probably the most recent pic i have minus it no longer has that front bumper and winch

KBB says in good condition the jeep is valued at 10,500 but you gotta take into account the salvage title i guess if you want the upgrades. so what do you think would be a reasonable price for this jeep if i decided to put it up for sale

i was told, so don't take it for more than it's really worth, that anytime you have a rebuilt title...you immediately take off 18% of the lowest kbb value and start there.

this was a lady at a SECU....but they don't like doing many loans on rebuilt vehicles, but they did for my 03 WRX back in 05 since it was cheap enough to keep them feeling safe

so my say is $6500

like i said if thats all i can get out of it then i guess it will continue to sit until i can afford to put tags and insurance back on it or i would be better off parting it out

or maybe i should stop comparing it to the ridiculous prices people are asking for on craigslist for their jeeps. but yeah 6000-6500 would be a hell of a deal for this jeep with whats on it and the low miles compared to other ones for sale but i just couldnt let it go for that

i don't blame ya, it's a hella nice jeep that i'd love to have myself

i have a 98 cherokee that's got a rebuilt title i just picked up....and i'd like to sell it right now, but i know i won't get my money back out of it...so i'll just hang onto it too
