Thinking about buying V6 Mustang Convertible

Is a 1999 125k miles but I know nothing about them. There fairly reliable or am I asking for trouble?

Some of them do have headgasket issues. I had to replace the headgaskets on my wife's 2000 V6 Mustang when she had it. Not a hard job to do just something that could be an issue.

Also, looks like the passenger side rear window will not roll down, so plan on replacing a window motor.

I would go with the miata....V6 stangs are turds. My ex gf had one and she and it were always giving problems.

What is your reasoning behind these vehicle choices?

I would go with the Civic, for lack of ball busting from my buddies,

although Miatas can be very fun to drift, I mean drive(when noone is looking)

Kinda like a moped.

I been looking for a miata for awhile, but came across the mustang and having the extra seats would be nice. However I have some plans on doing local autocross so the miata would be better for that. As for the civic well they dont look bad get good gas mileage. In the end I need a car to give my truck with 180k miles a break.
