This JKU is gonna be the death of me

Ok guys and gals.....need more technical advice.

Noticed tonight on my 2007 JKU that the headlights are on full time. Pretty sure that's weird cause the switch is off. Start the jeep and the headlights are on. I'm almost positive it wasn't like that before.

This isn't where the weird stuff stops though. Fog lights don't work. High beams don't work. Turn signals don't work. Can't turn off headlights (they do turn off when I turn the ignition off). And windshield wipers don't work.

Is this all one assembly? Is it the clock spring? I already have no horn. The cruise control only turns on if I have the steering wheel in just the right position. But once it's on (says "Cruise" in the message center), cruise control works fine.

What part should I be look to order here? Clock spring? A fuse somewhere? Whole new steering column? New Jeep?

I do have the doors off. But I didn't have this problem last summer.

Thanks in advance for advice.

Man, you guys are slacking tonight, or my Google skills are getting better.

In case anyone else runs into the same problem, the solution seems to be a new multifunction switch (turn signal/head light lever). Reading up seems to indicate this will solve issues of both levers not doing anything as the windshield wiper signal goes through this switch too.

O'Reily's has it and I can pick it up tomorrow. I'll update if it solves the issue.

It won't solve the cruise control issue, that's most likely the clock spring as the cruise control is buttons go thru the clock spring. Check to see if the clock spring is under recall. 2007-2010 JK's were affected.

Yeah I figured it wouldn't solve the cruise issue. That one is a pain but I can live with it for now. I haven't checked on a recall. Guess that's my next google adventure.

Just to update everyone.....

Replacing the turn signal/headlight multifunction switch solved all my issues (except cruise control and the fact that it's still a JK). Guess the original switch failed and killed everything. Wiper switch runs through this one so that's why wipers stopped working.

$100 at O'Reily's and 10 minutes of install time got me back in business today.
