I just bought some 33" GY MT/R with aluminum Outlaw 1 rims. Will these rims be able to with stand some off roading such as mud pits and rough rocky hill climbing or are they to soft?

One more thing, I have a Jeep Wrangler 95'. With these big tires will my stock axles hold up for awhile till I can afford some new axles? Should I tread lightly or just stay home and get fat?

I've run the same set of Outlaw II for about twelve years on three different K-10's and now a K-5. Though you can break/bend them, I guess I've been lucky. I just bought a used set off a fellow in California for my other K-5, he used them in the desert environment.

Oh yeah, What do you think about the axles? Will the stock ones be O.K. for awhile?

There are no stupid questions in this section.. ;) (Moved to newbie)

Hey upnover.. you thought 33's were big at one time too..

I think you'll find that we're not very mud-oriented. Once you start replacing parts because of it, you'll see why.

We may all have to re-think this mud vs Rocks thing LOL YEs I did used to play in the mud and it did cost me a lot, but NO WHERE NEAR what I have spent in my current rig! And yes, was joking, I did used to think 33's were big!!

Thanks for the advice fella's. Sorry to say I'm a rookie. I have been to Uwharrie a couple times though when I first bought my Jeep and loved it!

I need some where new to play with my GIANT 33's (LOL) !!!

NOt much to do around there. You are kinda between URE and the beach! Or travel about 5 hours my way for some good fun! Mnt City, Robinsville, Tellico ect. Some times I am glad I live so close to the mountains!

Sounds good upnover, I'll try it out. Is there beginner trails out there? I hate to ask that question, but I'm comparing this to the first time I treid skiing and got busted up a little. I'm a bunny slope beleiver now. LOL. Thats my new approach.
