why swirl the air, if you're not adding the fuel til later?

it's "somewhat" logical on a carb'd rig...just has never made sense to me on a fuel injected rig...

Yeah, I put one of these on my jeep many moons ago and the only difference was my right cheek was closer to the seat. I do recall the whirring noise towards the top of the RPM's but couldn't really even notice a difference.
 
One of the mags (JP?) recently claimed that they actually do work as promised on 4.0liters. However, anyone that I've ever heard with real world experience have said they are worthless.
 
You could spend a nice chunk of change on all the 4.0 bolt on performance products and you'll never get your money back on your investment, even at $3.00 per gallon.
