Time to do some fishing!

Not sure how many of you guys fish (big water) I surf fish but have been thinking I need to hit a charter. Reports are they have been killing nice big Blue Fin Tuna out of Oregon Inlet. Well two weeks ago they broke the state recoed by a long shot... 805lbs. is a lot of good eating!

I would charter a boat if i had a 50/50 shot at a blue fin.

Very high on my list of fish I want to catch.

Just too expensive to take a chance. That is why I got my own boat and go for the fresh water fish. I can fish a lot for the price of a charter (sans boat payment).

Hell ya missed one awesome winter for trout if its just now time to start fishing! been pullin 3 4 pounders out like its nothing!!!! South fork is one beautiful river!!! Not a very good lake fisherman tho lol need a damn boat!?!?!?!?

We charter out of either OI or Pirates Cove each year... may try to get a few trips in this year...

EDIT: Blue fin would be fun but we're going to wait around until the Yellow Fin are running in full force..

Yep and that will kill a lot of the fishing fleet. Heck they already shut down the point at Hatteras because a damn Oyster Catcher started "scrathing" the ground in "pre" nesting mode. Poor Hatteras is taken a beating between birdie fools and government.
