Hey guys, recently purchased a stock 92 YJ, 307 gears, with 235/75/15's and stock rims.
From what i've read i can easily put 30 x 9.5's on. Thinking of getting new black rims 15 x 8 with 4" backspace also, do you think that's o.k.?

It's mostly for a little better look, I won't be doing any hardcore wheeling.
You think I can sell or trade in the 235's w/rims? I've never tried that before, they've only got about 1000 miles on them.

you could probably sell or trade them to cover at least part of it...

Galloways takes trade-ins...and I think Discount Tire will also give you something for decent tires...

15x8 w/ 4" BS would be fine...

the 235/75R15's are roughly 28.8" in diameter, so you won't feel a huge loss going up to 30's...

one place to consider selling the tires/wheels is the smaller "mom-n-pop" car dealers...I bought my '01 from one of those, and sold them the tires and wheels back for $300, since I was lifting it that weekend...they'll buy them to put on a Jeep they buy at auction...

Yeah i want new rims too. Something like Cragar soft eights, < $50.
Where is Galloways? You guys recommend anyone around the triad for good prices and trade-ins?
Maybe this should be in the commerce section?
