Went to Uwharrie over the weekend and drove Wolfden Trail...pretty tame. I was wondering what tire pressures do you run at Uwharrie? I guess it depends on the conditions, dry vs wet, rock vs mud. But a general starting point would be nice.

I have a 2000 XJ 3" and 15x10.5x32 Tires.

Thanks, Bubba

enough to get a little tire bulge. i would try somewhere around 16 or 18. go as low as you feel comfortable and your tires can handle.

if you did that trail with no complaints i wouldnt worry to much. tire pressure is easy to change on the trail. just dont let out too much :)

This all depends on the tire, I run 8 - 10 PSI in my 35 Baja Claws and get little to no bulge at first, But the loosin up the more I ride. Its really what makes you feel comfortable. Like Oleblue said just becarefull not to let to much out at first.

Thanks guys. Where do you refill? Do you carry air or compressor? The folks at Outpost were really helpful. I wasn't looking for it. Do they have air?

Thanks, Bubba

The Outpost does have coin-op air over on the side. I think its .75 a shot, and if I'm good (valve caps off, area clear, kids STFU'd), I can fill all 4 back to 30-35 with $1.50. I bring a baggie of quarters for fillup.
I air down my 31x10.5 BFG ATs to around 15 psi or so.
