Tire vulcanizing near Fayetteville?

Any one know of a shop that could vulcanize a 2" gash in the side of a 42" TSL that doesnt go past the first layer of cords except for a small pinhole in the Fayetteville area? I searched and found a few references to a shop in Hickory but thats a 3 hour drive one way for me and I only have weekends off so I'd probably have to take a day of vacation to get it done. The tire is practically new. I really dont want to drop another $420 on one

tim you should shoot cam a PM on mallcrawlin, he did a ton of research on vulcanizing and decided to repair the shallow cuts in his ltb with some vulcanizing compound he ordered online, worked awesome as far as i know.. -trey
