will 285s or 265s fit on a dually wheel i think mine are 6 inchs wide. i know i will have to get some spacers just wondering whats the biggest i can go thanks.

Dodges can probably fit 265s without spacers. GM has less backspacing than Dodge, and can't really go bigger than 245s without having rubbing issues between tires.

As far as how wide you can go on the wheel itself, I have seen 315s and wider on 6" wide wheels. The only real ill effect you will have from a tire that wide, on a wheel that narrow is accelerated treadwear in the center of the tire. Lowering the pressure can help that out somewhat.

I ran 285s on my stock dodge wheels with a 1/2" spacer. They barely touched, never had a problem though.

Just get 255/75s on some 22.5s... plenty of room between the tires.

hey do yall think 265s will work without spacers or will i need a small spacer. how wide of spacers can you go without changing the studs

the tires actually fair better if they are really tight together. I little bit of rubbing together causes sidewall failure. If they are barely touching sitting still imagine them with a load hitting bumps and such. I have seen 315 on the duallies before and looked like they would have to mounted on the truck before you aired them up. Just my two cents. I put 235 85's on a 06 chevy dually and had to use a .25 spacer between the rims to keep them from rubbing. He was pulling a 40' enclosed trailer though.
