anyone have experience rolling a tj over with one of those "sport" cages that you bolt in? They use the 3/16" dash plate bracket that goes to the floor.

Just wondering if they really do anything or if they crumple under a hard hit.

ive rolled my cj-7 over with one before. i had a roll bar out of a 04 wrongler in it. you could tell is was caddywompused a little but not bad enought to replace.

Justin, a buddy of mine just installed this cage before we went to Moab this past April. It looked great and I wouldn't have any problems trusting it in a floproll. A little pricey, but nicely done. I actually prefer it's styling compared to my weld in.

If you go on Stu-Olson's website, you can find Tracy's roll down hells gate. All she had was a sport cage that bolted to the dash, versus the bar through to the floor.

thats nice if you like the bolt in look. I think i'm going to put in the poison spider dash to floor mounts and make the rest to weld to the stock roll bar.

thanks.

thats what i want to do as well 99. Know how much those dash to floor supports are?
