tj drop pitman arm

I need a new pitman arm and steering box on my jeep tj. I have a 6 inch rough country lift so should I go back with a 6inch drop pitman arm. I know some people say yes and others say you dont need one bc of the stress it causes on the box. Just looking for some info from someone who has used both.
