Been throwing a check engine code for a few weeks. Had it ran on OBD scan Came back reading Evap Emmision, Control Syst Purge, Valve C Fault. The 11 fuse under dash calls for a 10 amp fuse have now popped three of them. Put a 15 in and it did not pop. The code has been reset now as I needed an inspection yesterday. I didn't put fuse back in and I'm not going to turn on the ac or anything fan related. Hopefully I can log 40 miles then get it inspected. Anyone have any clue what the root cause may be though? 2000 Wrangler 6 cyl sport has ac 5 speed. Thanks

I have a 2000 TJ 6 cylinder 5 speed AC too. According to the wiring diagram on alldatadiy.com, the only things coming off of fuse 11 is the Duty Cycle/Evap Purge Solenoid, the Torque converter clutch solenoid (which you don't have), daytime running lights module (which you probably don't have), and the A/C compressor clutch relay. That should help you trace circuits to look for shorts. Leaving the fuse out may cause you to get the code again. Here is the description of the circuit:
DUTY CYCLE EVAP CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID
The duty cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid (DCP) regulates the rate of vapor flow from the EVAP canister to the intake manifold. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) operates the solenoid.
During the cold start warm-up period and the hot start time delay, the PCM does not energize the solenoid. When de-energized, no vapors are purged. The PCM de-energizes the solenoid during open loop operation.
The engine enters closed loop operation after it reaches a specified temperature and the time delay ends. During closed loop operation, the PCM cycles (energizes and de-energizes) the solenoid 5 or 10 times per second , depending upon operating conditions. The PCM varies the vapor flow rate by changing solenoid pulse width. Pulse width is the amount of time that the solenoid is energized. The PCM adjusts solenoid pulse width based on engine operating condition.
Also, here is some more info (I assume you got code P0443).
SYMPTOM
P0443 - EVAP PURGE SOLENOID CIRCUIT
WHEN MONITORED
At ignition key ON and battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts .
SET CONDITION
After arming conditions are satisfied: PCM will set a trouble code if the actual state of the solenoid does not match the intended state.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
* Fused ignition switch output circuit open
* EVAP purge harness intermittent defect
* EVAP purge harness observable defect
* EVAP purge solenoid control circuit open
* EVAP purge solenoid control circuit shorted to ground
* Evaporative purge solenoid
* PCM (evaporative purge solenoid circuit)
There are also some tests on alldatadiy.com. PM me if you want me to try to copy the images and send to you.

Dude you're my fucking hero send me images if you dont mind bryanmabrams @ gmail . com. Thanks again bro

The purge solenoid is a pretty common problem on the TJ. I have also seen a lot of them have the harness break that runs to the solenoid.
